Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi Digital Microscope

The Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi is a portable microscope that is easy to carry. Thanks to its design, it easily fits into a backpack and is convenient to move even with one hand. This microscope is very lightweight and can therefore be a great tool for a child. In any case, the Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi is mainly intended to assist professional activities. It is useful in the study of works of art, minerals, coins, and metal sections. It can also be used to verify the quality of welds and repair electrical devices. A handheld microscope is often used to check merchandise in stores and detect any molds growing on fruit and vegetables.

The image is reproduced through a digital camera with a 5 MP sensor. It transmits a high-resolution color image to the built-in LCD screen. The adjustable screen can be positioned in the most comfortable direction for observation during work. Additionally, the microscope can capture images and record videos (a memory card is required, to be purchased separately). For this purpose, there is a dedicated button on the microscope body. If necessary, the Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi can also be connected to an external monitor, a TV, or a computer. All necessary cables are already included in the kit.

Before connecting the microscope to the computer, remember to install the included software. Through the application, you will have access to additional features, such as measuring the linear and angular distances of observed objects and adding text and images to taken photos.

The microscope only allows working with non-transparent samples. LED lights with adjustable brightness are used as the light source. There is a polarizing filter, which allows reducing glare and unwanted reflections when observing objects with shiny surfaces. Magnification is continuously variable in a range between 10 and 300x, with digital zoom enabling magnification up to 1200x. The microscope is battery-powered (providing 2.5 hours of autonomy) or via a power adapter connected to the AC mains.

Tip for using the software: to properly run the PortableCapture Plus program (or other versions), start the installed application only when the microscope is connected to a PC and ready for observations.

Attention! The mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220–240 V. Refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V socket and vice versa without using a transformer.

The Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
