The Levenhuk DTX 30 Digital Microscope is a modern USB digital microscope with a photo and video recording function. It is equipped with a 2Mpx digital camera that provides magnification within the 20-230x range. This model is applicable for many fields of research: electronics, jewelry, biology, zoology, etc.
The microscope connects to a PC or laptop via a standard USB 2.0 port. You can study samples and edit images using image processing software (included in the kit). This software has an intuitive interface: The control panel has buttons for image and video editing, printing the picture, saving the data on a hard drive, and many other functions. For example, such functions as measurement and calibration can measure the length of the sample, perimeter, radius or diameter, and its angles.
The Levenhuk DTX 30 is very easy to master as it requires no special skills. The compact size of the device makes it very suitable for home use. For better results, it is recommended to mount the microscope on a tripod (included).
The rubberized body of the microscope is pleasant to the touch, and it secures your grip, thereby preventing the device from slipping out of your hands.
