The Levenhuk D80L LCD is a digital microscope with a 2 MP camera and an LCD screen. This microscope can be used for direct observations and to create a photo and video archive. The image is transmitted to the screen in real time, can be saved to a memory card, or transmitted to an external device. It is a microscope suitable for studying transparent, semi-transparent, and opaque samples in bright field.
Instead of the classic eyepiece tube, there is a head equipped with a screen. This configuration is the most comfortable option for prolonged observations, as it reduces eye strain as well as stress on the rotator headset. Microscopes with LCD screens are suitable for home use as well as for laboratory studies. On the sides of the screen are control buttons for operating the digital camera, while on the back there are slots for the memory card, power supply, and connection to other devices.
The digital camera works in tandem with achromatic objectives, the overall magnification of the microscope ranges from 40x to 1600x. The stage is equipped with the classic clips, the illumination is positioned both above and below and has adjustable brightness. Immediately below the stage, there is a condenser with a disc diaphragm, useful for more accurate light adjustment.
All optical elements of this microscope are made of glass. The body is made of metal.
