Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD digital microscope

The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD digital microscope is suitable for working with jewelry minutiae, electronic boards, minerals, coins, and metal sections. This microscope also proves useful for home use, for example, for examining insects and plants. The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD features an LCD screen, which helps reduce eye strain during prolonged observations and is more comfortable compared to using a traditional microscope eyepiece.

The image is produced by a 5 MP digital camera. The camera provides magnification from 10 to 300x, and an additional digital zoom allows observing objects up to 1200x. The vivid and detailed image is then transmitted to the built-in LCD screen. Furthermore, the built-in camera allows capturing images and recording videos. The control buttons are located below the screen. They are used to select the photo and video quality, enable and disable time-lapse mode, choose loop video mode, and set the date and time.

This microscope is completely standalone and does not need to be connected to any other external device. To save photos and videos, a memory card is required (sold separately). The microscope can also be connected to an external monitor, TV, or computer. The kit includes software and all necessary cables. Note: once installed on a computer, the software allows measuring displayed objects (line, radius, diameter, angle between three points). The software also enables adding images and text to photos taken by the microscope.

The microscope's illumination system consists of intense LED lights with adjustable brightness. There is a built-in polarizing filter that reduces stray reflections when observing shiny metal surfaces.

The microscope is powered via AC mains or by a built-in battery, which provides up to three hours of autonomy.

Software usage advice: to correctly run the PortableCapture Plus (or other versions) program, start the installed application only when the microscope is connected to a PC and ready for observations.

Attention! The mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220–240 V. Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V socket and vice versa without using a transformer.

The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
