The Levenhuk MED 30B binocular microscope has professional optical elements and allows extending the basic capabilities using additional accessories (purchased separately). The microscope is suitable for laboratory research using the bright field method at magnifications from 40x up to 1000x. It can be used for studying small and complex structures. It is excellent for use in educational, scientific, clinical, and diagnostic fields and can meet the demands of a discerning customer.
Semi-planacromatic optics with infinity correction
The Levenhuk MED 30 series microscopes are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system, used in professional and high-end microscopes. This system includes semi-plan objectives and enables clear, high-contrast images with an excellent level of flatness.
One of the most important features of the infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows the installation of additional parts in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. The supplementary parts include polarizers (all Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes have a special slot for their installation), epifluorescence lights, and devices. Overall, the modularity and ease of use make Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes optimal for use in various microscopy fields, for work in hematology, histology, microbiology, and other laboratories.
Optical capabilities
The microscopes are equipped with a 360º rotatable binocular head. One visual unit has a 30º inclination angle, which makes long observations less straining on the neck muscles and allows focusing on research.
The kit includes two wide-field 10x eyepieces with diopter adjustment and five semi-plan achromatic objective lenses with different magnifications. Three objective lenses have spring mechanisms. A 100x objective is suitable for immersion method observations. The optical elements in all accessories are protected with an anti-fungal coating.
Comfortable work with slides
The mechanical stage can move along two axes. Additionally, it has a mechanical scale for precise positioning of a sample under the objective lens. Coarse and fine focusing adjustments are available. Thanks to the smooth movement of the mechanism, sharpness adjustments are performed easily and quickly. An Abbe condenser is equipped with an iris diaphragm as well.
Illumination system adjustment
The illumination system with brightness adjustment includes a 3 W LED and an additional lens to enhance brightness. Kohler illumination settings are available. The light is powered by an alternating current source.

Caution:
Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, and 220–240 V in most European countries.
Some things that can be observed under the microscope:
The Levenhuk MED 30B binocular microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (purchased separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed into the eyepiece tube in place of an eyepiece.
