Levenhuk LX700 Laser Hunting Rangefinder

The Levenhuk LX700 laser rangefinder is a compact and lightweight device that measures distances and angles, as well as calculates the speed of moving objects. It features fast performance, low power consumption, and high measurement accuracy. It can be aimed at targets of various sizes, both large (such as buildings or trees) and relatively small (such as flag poles or small wild animals). This device can measure distances up to 700 meters.

The optics provide 6x magnification, so the rangefinder can also be used as a classic observation monocular. The rangefinder has two operating modes: a single distance measurement mode and a scan mode. In scan mode, measurements can be made continuously, which is useful when measuring the distance of a moving object, for example. There is also a flag detection mode, used to measure the distance to a single small object within the field of view. The device quickly locates it and emits a vibration when it has locked onto the position. There is also a slope mode. In slope mode, all measurements appear in real time.

The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that can be recharged via the included USB cable (AC power adapter not included). It features an automatic shut-off function to save battery life. Although designed to be handheld, the device is equipped with a 1/4" thread useful for mounting the rangefinder on a standard tripod to ensure greater stability of the device.

Note well: during operation, IR illumination (infrared light) can be detected by cameras and camcorders as well as other similar electronic devices.
