Levenhuk LX1500 is a laser rangefinder for hunting, sports and tactical games, hiking, and any situation where you need to measure the distance, angles, and speed in open spaces. You can measure the distance of 5 to 1,500 meters (16–4,900ft). The device is very compact and lightweight and it is easy to hold it in your hands. There is also an option to mount it on a tripod in case you want to get more stable images. It is also possible to use the device as a standard monocular with 6x magnification.
Both single distance measurements and continuous measurements are available. In the scan mode, the parameters are determined in real time – you can see the quickly updated readings right in the eyepiece. This mode is mainly used to calculate the distance to a moving target. There is also a slope mode with a slope compensation calculation for playing golf. Another feature is a flagpole lock mode: the device finds a small single target and vibrates when it is locked.
The rangefinder is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. There is an auto power-off function, which saves battery power. The device can be charged from an AC power supply via the USB cable (included, an AC adapter must be purchased separately).
Please note: IR illumination (infrared radiation) can be detected by photo and video cameras as well as other similar electronic devices during operation.
