The Levenhuk LX1500 is a laser rangefinder for hunting, sports and military tactics games, hiking, and any situation where it is necessary to measure distances, angles, and speed in an open space. It can measure distances from 5 to 1,500 meters. This instrument is very compact and lightweight, so it is easy to hold. It can also be mounted on a tripod if more stable images are desired. Additionally, the rangefinder can be used as a regular monocular with 6x magnification.
Both single measurement and continuous distance measurement (scanning) modes are available. In scanning mode, parameters are determined in real time, and it is possible to view the measured and rapidly updated values directly through the eyepiece. This mode is used to calculate the distance of a moving target. There is also a slope mode, with calculation of inclination compensation, useful for golf players. Another feature is the flag detection mode: the device finds a single small target and vibrates when the detection is complete.
The rangefinder is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. It features an automatic shut-off function to save battery power. This instrument can be recharged from an AC power outlet via a USB cable (included, AC adapter sold separately).
Please note: during operation, IR illumination (infrared light) can be detected by cameras and camcorders as well as by other similar electronic devices.
