The Levenhuk D320L PLUS digital microscope is equipped with a 3.1 M video eyepiece, making it suitable not only for visual observations but also for creating digital archives of the observations made as well as for conducting seminars and lessons. This microscope is excellent for research in the medical, biochemical fields, and many others and will deserve a rightful place in every scientific laboratory or research institute. The digital camera makes this microscope practical for teaching high school or university students.
The magnification range is 40–1600x. The achromatic objectives provide a sharp and extremely detailed image, free of aberrations. At maximum magnification, when using the 100x objective, it is possible to apply the oil immersion research method (a bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit). Two wide-angle eyepieces with pointers allow easier study of samples with complex structures.
The stage is equipped with a mechanical translator, which makes it possible to quickly and precisely position the sample under the lens. Coarse and fine adjustment knobs are used to fine-tune image sharpness. Under the stage, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm, below which is the LED illumination with adjustable brightness. The illumination can be powered via AC mains or batteries.
The main feature of the microscope is its digital camera. It is installed in the optical tube in place of the eyepiece. To connect the camera to a computer, just use a USB cable. The camera reproduces real-time images with a resolution up to 2048x1536 pixels. It is possible to take photos or record videos. This camera is an excellent solution for recording the main stages of research, creating presentations, or video lessons. The digital camera is accompanied by an installation CD containing the necessary software and drivers.
