We are proud to present to you the Discovery optical instruments line, produced by Levenhuk and sponsored by Discovery.
The Discovery Artisan 64 digital microscope is easy to use because it is equipped with a built-in LCD screen. Thanks to this feature, there is no need to connect the microscope to a PC, but it can still be used with a computer, as it is compatible with Windows and Mac OS (connection via USB cable). This microscope has a wide range of applications: repair of small components, microcircuit soldering, study of metals, blade sharpening, verification of the authenticity of old coins, restoration of art objects, and much more. It features top illumination, so this device can be used to examine only opaque objects.
The magnification is adjustable and ranges from 20x to 300x. The focus is manual within a range of 5 to 80 mm. The microscope has 8 LED lights around the camera lens. The camera serves as the only objective lens and is responsible for image capture. Its 0.3 MP sensor (up to 2 MP thanks to interpolation) reproduces a sharp and detailed image of the observed samples. Real-time observations are possible and, if necessary, photos and videos can be saved to a memory card (included). The special software (included) allows measuring linear and angular dimensions of the samples.
The microscope is mounted on a professional support arm equipped with a stage with graduated scales and clips. The microscope is powered by an integrated battery that can be recharged via USB cable.

Note: Please note that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220—240 V. For information regarding the correct mains voltage, consult the specifications table. Never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V power outlet, or vice versa, without using a voltage converter.
The Discovery Artisan 64 digital microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
