The bipod is lightweight, Mil-Spec, made from hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum and injection-molded polymer, combining innovation in ergonomics, functionality, durability, and value. Its low-profile design conceals its internal mechanisms and hardware. Optimized for quick one-handed adjustments, the bipod rapidly and quietly shifts between user configurations. In the shooting position, it can be easily loaded with a forward stabilizing tension without fear of failure or deformation. Its aluminum and stainless steel components, together with reinforced injection-molded polymer, ensure years of performance and reliability, all while keeping weight low. It is extremely lightweight, just over 320 grams. The leg extensions slide and lock securely with the simple press of a button on any of the seven locking stops spaced half an inch apart. The legs extend a full four inches, from 6.3" to 10.3". When folded, the aerodynamic housing and legs fit neatly under the barrel and measure just under 2.3" deep and 3.3" wide. The anodized surfaces and tight, precision tolerances mitigate creaks and noises. Additionally, its offset soft rubber feet grip firmly on a variety of shooting surfaces and can be easily removed. If users choose to change the feet, the Magpul Bipod legs accept most of the Atlas bipod replacement feet, except the Atlas 5-H style.

SELF-LEVELING LEGSAllows the shooter to quickly set up on uneven surfaces and adjust the leg height without leaving the position. The self-leveling legs allow numerous height adjustments and a simple twist of the locking mechanism is enough to hold it in place.
