The Magpul bipod for 1913 Picatinny rails offers professional-grade durability and versatility at a price that guarantees unmatched value. Made from Mil-Spec hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum and injection-molded reinforced polymer, this lightweight bipod combines innovation in ergonomics, functionality, durability, and affordability. The low-profile design conceals internal mechanisms and screws, minimizing snagging and accidental bumps. Optimized for quick one-handed adjustments, it allows fast and silent transitions between different operational configurations.
In the shooting position, the bipod can be easily loaded with forward stabilizing tension, without risk of failure or deformation. The aluminum and stainless steel components, together with the injection-molded reinforced polymer, ensure years of reliable and lasting performance while maintaining an extremely low weight: just over 11 ounces (approximately 312 g).
The leg extensions slide and lock securely via a button at any of the seven locking positions spaced half an inch apart. The legs extend by 3.5 inches, ranging from 6.8” to 10.3”. An exclusive total tilt of 50° and total rotation (pan) of 40° are managed by a knurled locking knob, usable even with gloves and without tools, positioned between the extended legs. It is also possible to lock the rotation at 0° while maintaining full tilt functionality.
When closed, the compact body and legs fold neatly under the barrel, with a footprint just under 2.3” deep and 3.3” wide. The anodized surfaces and precision tolerances minimize creaks and vibrations.
A soft rubber cap applied to the locking knob offers stable, non-abrasive front support when the bipod is folded. Additionally, the offset soft rubber feet provide excellent grip on various shooting surfaces and can be easily removed with a roll pin punch. Should replacement be desired, the Magpul bipod legs are compatible with most standard interchangeable Atlas feet, except for the Atlas 5-H model.
