Optical tube with Levenhuk Ra R66 ED Black doublet

The optical tube with Levenhuk Ra R66 ED Black doublet is a short focal length apochromatic refractor that allows you to get an idea of the objects in the Messier and NGC catalogs, as well as observe in detail the reliefs of the lunar surface. It is possible to perform planetary observations as well as deep-sky objects. However, the primary use of this optical tube without a mount (OTA) is astrophotography. The photos taken thanks to the optics of this telescope are rich in contrast and have very sharp details.

The lenses are made of extra-low dispersion glass that effectively minimizes chromatic aberrations, especially second-order ones and spherochromatism. The wide field of view makes it practical to study larger areas of the sky. The telescope is equipped with a dual-speed Crayford focuser that ensures smooth and extremely precise focusing in any condition.

The optical tube is made of anodized aluminum and can be installed on most modern mounts. Since this OTA is quite lightweight and compact, it is an excellent choice for trips outside the city. The kit also includes a convenient aluminum case for the protection and transport of the telescope.
