Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 Telescope

Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 is a universal telescope designed for travel and long walks. This compact refractor is perfect for beginner astronomers of all ages. It is suitable for observing the planets of the Solar System and the Moon, as well as terrestrial observations. It is equipped with a prism diagonal, which provides an upright, distortion-free image and bends the optical axis of the telescope, making it convenient for observing objects high above the horizon.

This small refractor is also excellent for solar observations, and the kit includes a solar filter. Extreme caution is necessary when observing solar activity. Always ensure that the solar filter is attached to the telescope tube. The filter must completely cover the aperture. Never observe the Sun or bright areas around it with the finder scope.

MC coated lenses have an anti-reflective coating that ensures quality images. The kit includes 45x and 18x eyepieces with an optical tube diameter of 1.25”. The 3x Barlow lenses included in the kit along with the eyepieces allow magnifications up to 135x.

The operation of the telescope’s altazimuth mount does not require special knowledge or skills: simply move the optical tube along the vertical and horizontal axes. Such mounts are also suitable for landscape observation. A convenient finder helps quickly navigate the sky or find a terrestrial object. This telescope is very easy to use and does not require complicated setup. The mount is installed on a lightweight aluminum tripod. The tripod height can be adjusted from 40 cm to 125 cm.
