The Levenhuk Blitz 76 BASE telescope is a Newtonian reflector with a spherical primary mirror. It is a beginner model but allows observing many objects in outer space and deep sky. You can study the Moon, Earth-like planets, and binary stars, as well as large open and globular clusters. Almost all objects in the Messier catalog are observable, although with limited detail visibility.
Its optics are made of glass with anti-reflective coating. As a result, the image delivered by the telescope is sharp and clear. Objects can be observed with good clarity up to 152x magnification. Thanks to the inclusion in the kit of three eyepieces with different focal lengths and a 2x Barlow lens, it is possible to work with a large number of lens combinations.
With the fork altazimuth mount, using the telescope is as easy as using a terrestrial spotting scope. To center the telescope on the chosen object, simply rotate the optical tube in the desired direction: up, down, right, or left. The mount is equipped with a micrometer screw on the vertical axis, allowing accurate and smooth orientation of the telescope. The aluminum tripod is height-adjustable and equipped with an accessory tray.
