The Discovery Artisan 128 digital microscope features a built-in 3.5' LCD screen on which the image captured by the objective lens is displayed. This image can also be transmitted to an external screen, not only to a PC but also to a TV. The microscope is compatible with Windows and Mac OS devices, to which it can be connected using a USB cable. To connect the device to a TV, an AV cable is required. The microscope also allows you to take photos, record videos, and perform measurements (linear and angular distances, radii, diameters, etc.).
The image is formed by the Discovery Artisan 128 digital microscope camera, 5 MP and up to 12 MP with interpolation. The magnification range varies from 20x to 500x, and manual focus is between 0 and 150 mm. This microscope is perfect for working with metals, numismatics, restoration, jewelry making, and repair work. It can be used to detect manufacturing defects, digitize museum artifacts (leaves, minerals, etc.), solder, and work on drawings and paintings. This model is also suitable for scientific hobbies.
The stage is equipped with two clips and graduated scales. The microscope has integrated illumination. It includes 8 white LED lights around the camera lens. Their brightness is adjustable. The illumination and microscope are powered by a lithium-ion battery or AC mains power (AC adapter included).
Note: To save photos and videos, a memory card (not included) must be used. Saved data can be transferred to a computer via USB cable.

Software usage tips:
For proper functioning of the program, start the installed application only when the microscope is connected to the PC and ready for observations.
Note: Please note that the mains voltage in the USA and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220–240 V. For information regarding the correct mains voltage, consult the specifications table. Never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V power outlet, or vice versa, without using a voltage converter.
