The Discovery Field 10x50 is a waterproof optical instrument designed for open field observations. Essential for territorial surveillance, during hunting trips or expeditions, as well as trekking. Based on a classic Porro prism design, its wide 50 mm aperture optics gather a lot of light. The lenses are made of glass with multi-coated anti-reflective treatment. Both by day and at twilight, these optics reproduce a bright and high-contrast image.

With BK-7 optical glass elements, the Discovery Field 10x50 is made of sturdy plastic and rubber-coated. The optics and mechanical parts are well protected against shocks and moisture. The exterior surface has a textured pattern that prevents the binoculars from slipping out of wet hands. It is easy to focus these binoculars: just adjust the focus of the objective lenses with the convenient central focusing wheel, correct the diopters if necessary, and you are ready to observe immediately. These binoculars can be mounted on a tripod for static observations (with a standard 1/4' mount).
