The Levenhuk Skyline PLUS 105 MAK is a small telescope for beginners who want a universal optical instrument for terrestrial and astronomical observations. This telescope is effectively suited for studying the Moon and the planets of the solar system as well as the most famous deep sky objects. It allows you to observe Saturn's rings, Jupiter's storms, seasonal changes on Mars, and atmospheric phenomena on Venus. Furthermore, double stars, diffuse and planetary nebulae, galaxies, and many other objects from the Messier and NGC catalogs are clearly distinguishable.
The telescope optics are assembled according to a catadioptric design. This means that its optical qualities are enclosed in a compact body. This telescope is easy to position on a balcony and practical to carry out into the open countryside or simply into the garden for astronomical observations. The fully multi-coated glass optics provide a sharp and detailed image.
Some experience is necessary to operate the telescope, but the equatorial mount offers more convenience than an altazimuth mount. Indeed, it allows you to follow objects in the sky precisely and smoothly through the use of slow-motion control knobs. Prolonged observations do not require particular effort, which allows viewing more celestial bodies and astronomical events.
The telescope is mounted on a stable aluminum tripod. The tripod legs can be adjusted in height. An accessory tray is useful for keeping included or separately purchased accessories within reach. There are two medium magnification eyepieces with different focal lengths and a mirror diagonal useful for terrestrial landscape observation.
