We are proud to present to you the Discovery line of optical instruments, produced by Levenhuk and sponsored by Discovery.
The Discovery Spark 703 AZ telescope is a compact short focal length refractor with a tabletop tripod and educational book. It is perfect for observing the night sky from a windowsill or balcony. It is also suitable for travel, as it does not take up much space. You can observe the Moon, planets near Earth, and terrestrial objects. During the day, the telescope can function as a terrestrial spotting scope. All necessary accessories are already included in the package.
This telescope is an achromatic refractor: chromatic aberrations, typical of refractor telescopes, are well minimized. The optical elements are made of glass with anti-reflective coating, significantly improving image clarity and sharpness. The optical tube is mounted on an altazimuth mount with a convenient focus knob, which can be easily operated even by a novice amateur astronomer with no prior experience. The compact tripod is made of aluminum and designed to be placed on a table, windowsill, or any flat surface.
The Discovery Spark 703 AZ comes with a set of accessories that allow you to exploit the full potential of this optical instrument: three eyepieces (including an erecting eyepiece), a Barlow lens, and a 90° mirror diagonal. The colorful educational book “Space. Vacuum not-empty” provides many interesting facts about space and its exploration and will become an excellent personal guide to learning about the Solar System.
