The Levenhuk Rainbow 50L microscope is a nice gift for anyone interested in science and biology. This instrument allows you to observe and study familiar objects from the environment around you with magnification of 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x, and even 800x! With this microscope, you could discover the structure of plants, animals, and humans, take a look at the life of microscopic organisms, normally hidden from our eyes, in their own micro-universe, and, of course, perform many exciting experiments. The kit includes everything a novice might need – the package contains microscope slides ready to observe immediately as well as tools that will allow you to create your own slides.

Six levels of magnification
The microscope is equipped with three objectives and an additional Barlow lens which doubles the magnification of each objective used. The microscope allows you to observe specimens with magnification of 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x, and even 800x!

The optical elements are made of high-quality clear glass. For better light transmission, the lenses are coated with a multi-layer coating, which produces clear and sharp images.

Clear LED illumination
The microscope is equipped with two built-in LED illuminations. The lower light is used to observe transparent specimens. With the bottom light on, you can find life in a drop of aquarium water or analyze the cellular structure of different plants. The top light is necessary to observe opaque objects—for example, you can examine the surface structure of a small stone or notice microscopic scratches invisible to the naked eye on metal surfaces. With two illuminations, you also have the possibility to observe semi-transparent specimens – turn on both the top and bottom lights. Brightness is adjustable, so you can easily change it if needed.

Easy to use
The microscope body is made of quality plastic, which makes the instrument lightweight and durable at the same time. The head is tilted at 45° so you can observe from a more comfortable position. It can also rotate 360° around its axis, which is especially convenient during group observations – the head can be easily rotated to allow the next participant to observe. For operation, you can use an electrical outlet or batteries.

Attention: Refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, and 220–240 V in most European countries.

Exciting microscope experiments
The microscope is equipped with an experiment kit that allows you to perform many exciting experiments with the microscope. The kit includes prepared samples to try out your new microscope, as well as the necessary tools to make your own samples. A helpful guide included in the kit contains information on microscope construction, tips on how to work with it, and descriptions of interesting experiments.

Storage and transport case
The microscope comes with a convenient and reliable plastic case. The case allows safe storage and transportation of the instrument – be sure that the microscope is protected from dust and shocks.
