The Levenhuk MED D35T trinocular digital microscope with an LCD screen is designed for professional microworld investigations in the medical, biochemical, classical biology, and other scientific fields. It is perfect for a clinical diagnostic laboratory or a university department. The microscope is equipped with a digital camera with an LCD screen, allows Köhler illumination setup, and supports oil immersion. The microscope uses planachromatic lenses that enable observation at magnifications from 40x to 1000x.
Planachromatic optics with infinity correction
The Levenhuk MED 35 series microscopes are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system, used in professional and high-level microscopes. This system includes planachromatic objectives and allows transmission of clear, high-contrast images with an excellent level of flatness.
One of the most important features of the infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows the installation of additional parts in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. The additional parts include polarizers for epi-fluorescence and devices. Overall, the modular design and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 35 microscopes optimal tools for use in various fields of microscopy, for work in hematology, histology, microbiology laboratories, and much more.
Rotatable head with beam splitter
A trinocular head with a beam splitter consists of a binocular viewing unit and a vertical tube for installing a digital camera. The kit includes two widefield 10x eyepieces with diopter adjustment, used for visual observations, and a 5 MP digital camera. The camera transmits the image to a built-in LCD screen in real-time. This makes laboratory work easier and more comfortable, as well as reducing eye and shoulder strain since there is no need to observe through the eyepieces. The LCD screen is used to configure all camera options (selection of recording modes, storage spaces, etc.) and image processing, and there is no need to connect to a computer.
Digital capabilities
The digital camera allows production of videos and taking high-resolution photos. Additionally, the camera supports connecting additional devices (keyboard, mouse, headphones, external monitor or TV), memory cards and other data storage. The software allows adjustment of image size, brightness and contrast, exposure time, and white balance, calibrating the camera and objective lenses, as well as measurement of samples and structures (various measurement units available). Moreover, the program allows performing granulometric particle analysis.
Optical glass with anti-fungus coating
A rotating nosepiece allows installation of up to five objectives. The kit includes planachromatic objectives at various magnifications. The lenses eliminate chromatic aberrations, create a flat field of view, and improve color rendition. The higher-magnification objectives are equipped with spring-loaded mounts, and the 100x objective can be used for oil immersion. Both coarse and fine focusing adjustments are available.
Comfortable slide handling
Samples are fixed to the mechanical stage, which is equipped with a graduated scale. The stage can be moved along two axes. Below the stage, there is an illumination unit consisting of a halogen light with brightness adjustment. There is also an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm. The light is powered by AC supply.

Caution:
for information regarding correct mains voltage, consult the specification table. Never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V socket and vice versa without using a voltage converter. Note that the mains voltage is 220–240 V in most European countries and 110 V in the United States and Canada.
Some things that can be observed under the microscope:
The Levenhuk MED D35T trinocular digital microscope with LCD screen is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (sold separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed on the optical tube, instead of an eyepiece.
