The microscope produces several fixed magnifications in the 300x–1200x magnification range. Illumination is located below the stage – that means you can observe any transparent microscope samples. Illumination runs on batteries (not included). If the external lighting is sufficient, you can use the built-in mirror to illuminate the sample.
