Levenhuk DC65 Compass

The Levenhuk DC65 compass is the perfect choice for travelers and camping enthusiasts. It easily helps you find your position or orient yourself on a map. It is a liquid compass, which is why its needle stops more easily than regular compasses. The dial has two scales: degrees and mil (a mil is one-thousandth of an inch, or about 25.4 μm), and the cardinal points are marked with large, easily readable letters. At sunset or in the dark, you can illuminate the dial with the built-in LEDs – just press the button located on the right side of the compass body.

A hole in the compass case and a magnifying lens with a notch on it help you determine the direction with great accuracy. A thumb ring next to the notch is used to hold the compass in position. The side edges of the compass are graduated with map scales to be used with maps.

The lighting operates on a battery (not included).
