Levenhuk 870T Trinocular Biological Microscope

Levenhuk 870T is a reliable trinocular biological microscope that can be used for bright field observations. It is commonly employed in various medical laboratories for clinical research in dermatology, biochemistry, cytology, and other scientific studies. Thanks to the trinocular head design, this model can be converted into a digital microscope by adding a digital camera for the eyepiece.

The microscope head is tilted at 30 degrees and can be rotated 360 degrees around its axis. Four objective lenses on the revolving nosepiece, Köhler illumination method, aperture adjustment, and field diaphragms make this microscope a perfect tool for serious observations.

The stage (140x155 mm, 5.5x6.1 inches) moves along two axes. Focusing is achieved by turning the coarse and fine focus knobs which raise or lower the stage, therefore bringing the specimen closer to or further from the objective lens. Both focusing systems have smooth movements in increments of 25 mm (1 inch) for coarse and 0.002 mm (0.00008 inches) for fine.

There is a 6 V 20 W halogen lamp with variable brightness installed in the microscope base which serves as the light source.

In addition, the Levenhuk 870T 8M digital trinocular microscope is compatible with other Levenhuk digital cameras (sold separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube, replacing one eyepiece.

The microscope comes with two additional accessories to connect a digital camera, an extension tube and another extender. It is recommended to use these accessories when using short focus objectives to achieve the best focusing results.
