With the Levenhuk 3S NG, you can start your adventures in the world of science as soon as you take the microscope out of the box, with the included Experiment Kit. This model allows bright-field observations of transparent samples. This microscope, with its 200x magnification, is a fantastic gateway to the wonders and mysteries of the microcosm for children, students, and amateurs.
The 40-mm (1.6-inch) plano-concave mirror in the Levenhuk 3S NG models provides enough light for your observations, meaning you can use the microscope without needing to connect it to a power source. This is the simplest and safest lighting method, meaning the microscope can be easily used by children. The diaphragm allows you to control the amount of light needed for observing this sample.
This monocular microscope has a single 16x achromatic objective lens, which provides a clear view without chromatic or spherical aberrations. In this model, the head is positioned directly on the stage, but for comfortable observations, you can tilt both the head and the stage at the desired angle thanks to the microscope arm.
The 100x90 mm (3.9x3.5 inch) stage is perfect for observations of one or two samples. To prepare the sample, first, place a sample on a blank slide, then slowly release a coverslip over the sample. The final slide is then positioned on the stage and secured with clips. Use the coarse focus knob to focus your view by moving the microscope body tube up and down (in 20 mm (0.8 inch) increments).
The metal construction makes this microscope solid and stable.
The user guide "Fascinating Microscope. Exploring the Microcosm" included in the kit will guide you through many biological experiments you can perform at home. For this, you will use the samples already provided with the Levenhuk 3S NG microscope, and within a few minutes, you will be looking at the unknown. You will learn to prepare samples, conduct experiments, analyze results, and, of course, learn many things about the world around you.
