The stylish Levenhuk LabZZ M101 microscope looks like a high-end instrument from a science fiction movie – the perfect choice for a curious boy! A young explorer can study the internal structure of houseplants, observe insects, detect microorganisms in a drop of water, and many other exciting things! The kit includes everything needed for the first biological experiments. The design is quite unusual – such a gift is not only useful but also fascinating!
High-quality optical elements
Although this microscope is designed for children, in terms of optical performance, it can be compared to many 'adult' microscopes. This microscope is equipped with three objective lenses: 4x, 10x, and 40x. To change the objective, simply rotate the revolving nosepiece. The unique feature of this microscope is its eyepiece with two magnification positions (10x and 16x). It is very comfortable to use. And even more convenient than if it had two standard eyepieces. The microscope provides six levels of magnification: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x, and 640x.
Exploring the microcosm
This microscope allows observing transparent samples – a drop of aquarium water, thin slides of plants, or prepared microscope slides. Objects should be placed on the convenient round stage and secured with two levers. Thanks to these levers, the studied samples will always stay in place. The light emitted from the LED diodes (positioned under the stage) passes through the samples, creating a magnified image in the eyepiece. It is possible to adjust the brightness level.
Smart design
The body is made of durable plastic. That is why it is both lightweight and reliable. For greater convenience, the head is inclined at 45 degrees. The design stands out for its high safety – the lighting operates on batteries, not from a power source. Thanks to this, the microscope can be used outdoors.
