We are proud to present the Discovery line of optical instruments, produced by Levenhuk and sponsored by Discovery.
If you dream of buying your first telescope or are looking for a gift for a budding astronomer, take a look at the Discovery Spark 707 AZ telescope, with an educational book. It combines everything needed for a first look at the starry sky: easy controls, a wide range of possible astronomical observations, and a well-equipped accessory kit. You can observe details of the lunar landscape, planets close to Earth, and even spy from afar on the brightest objects of the deep sky. Additionally, during the day, you can explore urban and natural panoramas using the telescope as a terrestrial spotting scope.
The Discovery Spark 707 AZ has an achromatic refractor configuration, which means the image is formed without color aberration. The outer surfaces of the glass lenses are coated with an anti-reflective treatment: this helps the system collect more light, ensuring a high-quality image across the entire field of view. The altazimuth mount is easy to use, and the vertical axis movement has a lock knob for more precise adjustment. The rack-and-pinion focuser is used to adjust the focus. Thanks to the standard diameter of 1.25', the telescope is compatible with numerous optical accessories.
The height of the aluminum tripod is adjustable, and the accessory tray allows you to keep every useful accessory within reach. The package includes three eyepieces, each with a different magnification, a correct-image eyepiece, and a 3x Barlow lens. In addition to the instrument and its accessories, it also includes the educational book "Space. Non-empty Void," all packed in brightly colored packaging. The book offers detailed descriptions of the celestial bodies of the Solar System, of particular interest to owners of a refractor telescope, and also provides practical tips on how to approach telescope observations.
