The Discovery Flint 8x40 is a field binocular with a classic combination: 8x magnification and 40 mm diameter objective lenses. It is an ideal tool for various outdoor observation activities: tracking animal signs, observing landscapes, finding hiking trails nearby, birdwatching, and much more.

The binocular's optical scheme is based on Porro prisms made of BK-7 optical glass. The fully multi-coated glass optics increase contrast and brightness levels of the reproduced images, which is especially important during observations in low-light conditions. Even at dusk or with a sky covered by low clouds, the images will still be clear and with well-visible details. This optical instrument also offers a wide field of view suitable for comfortably observing even fast-moving objects.

The binocular is easily adjustable according to each user's needs. Focus is set using the central wheel. Diopter adjustment and interpupillary distance functions are available. Foldable eyecups and a long eye relief ensure comfortable observations even for those wearing glasses.

The binocular body is made of metal and equipped with raised side inserts that allow a more comfortable and firm grip. The standard threading allows the binocular to be used with a tripod for fixed-position observations.
