The Discovery Femto Polar digital microscope allows you to examine the microcosm with your own eyes, as well as capture photos and videos of the analyzed samples. The 3 MP camera stores the images and displays the sample in real time on the main screen. The microscope is easy to use, reproduces clear and contrast-rich images, and the included accessories are suitable for enthusiasts and students. A detailed illustrated educational book on the wonders of the microcosm, entitled “Invisible World,” is included in the kit.
Achromatic optics with magnification from 40x to 400x
The microscope features a monocular head that can be rotated 360°. It is convenient to use in groups, especially when it is necessary to share the view with others. Instead of moving the entire instrument, the head can be rotated as needed. The 45° tilt of the head makes prolonged use more comfortable. The microscope optics, a wide-field eyepiece, and three achromatic objectives, are made of glass. The 40x objective is mounted on a retractable spring mechanism for extra protection against accidental damage. The device features coarse and fine focus adjustment.
Dual LED illumination with brightness adjustment
Stage with clips, a disc diaphragm located under the stage to control the lower light beam. Combined and adjustable illumination. The lighting can be powered by batteries (not included) or by mains power using the supplied AC adapter.
The kit includes a 3 MP camera for capturing photos and videos
The 3 MP digital camera can take photos at a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels, more than sufficient to display numerous tiny details on the sample. Additionally, it supports video recording functionality. To use the camera, insert it into the optical tube in place of the eyepiece, connect it to a computer via USB cable, and open the program (use the software installation CD). Image processing features are available for both photos and videos.
The detailed illustrated educational book, titled “Invisible World”, is a pleasant addition to the kit. It is written in easily understandable language and contains simple illustrations. It provides much interesting information on how to use the microscope to observe inside a drop of water or how to conduct home experiments. This wonderful educational text adds value to the experimental experience.
