All this is possible thanks to the graduated reticle and rangefinder scale present in one of the binocular's eyepieces.

The optical scheme is based on Porro prisms. All optical surfaces are coated with a multi-coated anti-reflective treatment, a special compound that improves brightness, contrast, and image clarity. You can focus on the target using the large and practical central focusing wheel. Its particularly short minimum focusing distance allows equally good viewing of both objects on the horizon and those just a few steps away. The adjustable-position eyecups and the diopter adjustment ring help tailor the instrument to your needs.

The sturdy metal body of the Levenhuk Army 10x40 is waterproof and its optical tubes are filled with nitrogen to prevent lens fogging. There is a 1/4" tripod mount.
