The Competition model powder measure is based on the proven Uniflow meter with its precision ground drum and smooth die-cast metal body. RCBS then added a powder deflector and a micrometer powder adjustment screw. The deflector controls the flow of powder and the pressure of the powder column on the measuring unit.

The micrometer adjustment screw allows precise settings for the desired charge and stays calibrated at the set value for later reference and reuse. The drum drive handle can be positioned on the right or left side simply by changing the orientation of the powder measure drum. The measure will accurately meter, by volume, all types of powders: flake, spherical, flake or cylindrical.

The measure dedicated to rifles will meter powder charges from 10 to 110 grs, while the pistol one from 5 to 40 grs. The Combo kit includes both drums and the micrometer adjustment screw.

NOTE: All powder measures should be used in conjunction with a reliable scale to accurately weigh the desired charge and perform sample checks of charges during the reloading process. Do not use with black powder.
