Levenhuk Fatum Z250 Thermo Vision Monocular

The Levenhuk Fatum Z250 is a thermo vision monocular in a form factor that can detect a target the size of a car at a distance of up to 2400m (1.5 miles). A smaller target, such as a wild boar, can be spotted at a distance of about 620m (2030ft). The device is compact, lightweight, and easy to hold, so it is perfect for continuous operation. Major areas of application are hunting and agriculture, security and search operations, and outdoor sports.

The thermal image is produced by a microbolometer matrix with a resolution of 400x300pix. You can select a color palette out of the five colors available. You can also use a laser designator: it can illuminate the target at a distance of 200m (650ft). There is a hot spot detection function, thereby allowing for a faster response to the current situation. The magnification is a combination of the optical magnification and digital zoom that can be adjusted with a discrete change in magnification from 2.4 to 9.6x.

The device has a robust design. It can perform well even during rain or snow due to the IP66 water protection rating, and so even strong jets of water cannot damage the device. The power efficiency has been given extra priority. The power source is a rechargeable battery, and there are energy-saving modes and an automatic shutdown when the device is not used. One charge lasts up to 7 hours of continuous operation. Another design element is a tripod thread. It has a standard 1/4' diameter.

The thermo vision monocular is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module and supports the TargetIR mobile app. After installing the app on your smartphone, you can get real-time images from the thermo vision monocular and change the settings remotely. In addition, via the app, you can take photos and record videos, saving them on your smartphone. The rangefinder function is also available. You can connect the thermo vision monocular to other external devices via Bluetooth or a cable with a Type-C connector.
