The Levenhuk Ra ER20 WA 14.5 mm is a wide-angle eyepiece with a 68° field of view, ideal for both large aperture telescopes and less powerful telescopes designed for terrestrial observations. It is particularly suitable for observing bright and extended deep-sky objects such as galaxies and nebulae. Additionally, using this eyepiece, it is possible to distinguish some details of open clusters.
One of its advantages is the high image quality. The fully-coated multi-element optics are made of glass. The eye relief allows observation of the entire field of view. Optical distortions are minimized, especially in the center of the image. This eyepiece can be paired with a 2x Barlow lens without sacrificing image quality.
The eyepiece body is made of aluminum. The barrel diameter is 1.25'. For greater comfort during observations, this eyepiece is equipped with a rubber twist-up eyecup. Simply fold it down to observe with maximum comfort even when wearing glasses.
