The Levenhuk DTX RC1 remote control microscope is a modern optical device that proves indispensable for working with jewelry, watch mechanisms, electronic boards, and other small complex objects. Thanks to the wireless remote control, the main functions of the microscope can be used while staying away from the instrument. This is particularly convenient during presentations or group research.
A color LCD screen with high-resolution photo and video
Instead of the usual eyepieces, there is a 4.3-inch LCD screen. It captures the image observed through the objective and displays it in real time. If necessary, the image can be transmitted to a computer screen. To do this, simply connect the microscope to the computer via the included USB cable. Samples can be studied using optical or digital magnification. The overall magnification range varies from a factor of 3 to a factor of 220. Additionally, the microscope allows you to take high-resolution photos and record Full HD videos (a memory card is required but not included).
Flexible mount lighting system
The lighting system is not the usual one. Inside the objective assembly, several LEDs are positioned: the classic top illumination for reflected light observations. Moreover, there are two LED spotlights mounted on flexible supports that can be tilted at different angles to precisely direct light onto the working area. The brightness of the system is adjustable.
Capture photos and videos with the wireless remote control
All control buttons are located directly below the LCD screen, but some options are also duplicated on the remote controls. There are two types of remote control: one connected by cable to the instrument and one wireless. The remote switch connected via cable controls the lighting power. It is integrated along the power cable. It can be used to turn on the microscope and adjust the brightness of the lights. The wireless remote control allows you to adjust magnification, take photos, and record videos. Its use makes it easier to create high-quality recordings, as every slight touch of the microscope could change its settings and blur the frame.
