The Levenhuk 850B biological binocular microscope is ideal for pathological anatomy research, biochemical, cytological, urological, dermatological, biological studies, and general clinical research in laboratories of any medical institution. It allows observations using bright field methods.
It is also equipped with a revolving nosepiece. The rotating head, which can hold four objectives, is inclined at 30° and rotates 360° on its axis. The microscope features the classic Koehler illumination system, with adjustable field and aperture diaphragms.
The focusing mechanism has knobs for coarse and fine adjustments. Focusing precision is achieved through the vertical movement of the specimen stage relative to the fixed objective using knobs. The specimen stage, with two-coordinate movement, can move vertically and horizontally. The specimen stage measures 140x155 mm (5.5x6.1 inches). The focusing mechanism and stage move smoothly without jerks or backlash. The increment is 25 mm for coarse focusing and 0.002 mm (0.00008 inches) for fine focusing.
The microscope's illumination system includes a 6V/20W halogen lamp with stepless brightness adjustment.

Caution: Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110 V device into a 220 V socket and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.
Some of the things that can be observed under the microscope:
The Levenhuk 850B biological binocular microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (sold separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube, replacing an eyepiece.
The microscope is supplied with two additional accessories to connect a digital camera: an extension tube and another adapter. It is recommended to use these accessories when using objectives with short focusing distances to achieve the best focus results.
