Optical tube with Levenhuk Ra R72 ED doublet

The Levenhuk Ra R72 ED optical tube with Levenhuk doublet is a practical optical instrument. The primary use of this telescope is astrophotography, but it is also suitable for direct observations of space, including the planets of the Solar System and a variety of deep sky objects. It reproduces high-contrast images, allows observation of even the faintest stars, and offers an excellent view. All considered, this optical tube is quite compact and lightweight. An advantage for long excursions.

This tube without a mount (OTA) is an apochromatic refractor with extra-low dispersion optics. It minimizes chromatic aberrations, especially second-order ones and spherochromatism. Its objective fully exploits the aperture potential, creating high-resolution images and allowing the observation of the smallest details of astronomical objects. The mechanics of the optical tube are precisely calibrated and work perfectly, allowing focus solely on observation. Thanks to the 2" dual-speed Crayford focuser, it is possible to adjust sharpness very smoothly.

The tube body is made of aluminum with high-quality blackening. The quick-release thumbscrew allows this OTA to be installed on most modern mounts. The kit includes a sturdy aluminum case for protection and transport.
