If necessary, the probe thermometer can even be used as a medical thermometer to measure body temperature in case of illness.
This tool can measure food temperature in °C and °F. The measurable temperature range is very wide, which expands possible fields of application. The robust design of this device ensures continuous use for many years. The body is made of ABS plastic, compliant with IP65 protection standards: the instrument is protected from accidental splashes and even water immersion.
The measured temperature values are shown on the integrated screen in the thermometer. The large digits are easy to read and backlighting is available. The buttons are located beside the screen: °C/°F (unit conversion), 'HOLD' (keeps the current temperature visible on the screen), and 'ALARM/SET' (“Alert/Set”: to access the settings).
The device is battery powered. The automatic shutdown function is designed to reduce energy consumption. The screen backlight turns off automatically after 5 seconds, while the instrument powers down after 10 minutes of inactivity.
