The Levenhuk SkyMatic 135 GTA telescope is a reflector on an azimuth mount with GoTo functionality. This large-aperture (f/5) telescope is suitable not only for astronomical observations but also for astrophotography. Lunar craters as small as 4.5 miles in diameter, Saturn’s rings, the seasonal changes on Mars, and distant nebulae and galaxies: all can be observed in detail with this telescope. You can also observe the most extraordinary objects from the Messier and NGC catalogs, asteroids, comets, and more.
The maximum useful magnification of the telescope is 260x with a resolution of 1.1'. This combination ensures the highest quality HD image with magnification, suitable for most astronomical observations.
The package includes two achromatic eyepieces, SUPER 10 and SUPER 25, with a diameter of 31.75 millimeters (1.25 inches) that serve as powerful image correction tools. The optics used in the eyepiece are glass with a special coating. Field of view 50–52°.
The telescope is equipped with a computerized AZ 114 GT SynScan altazimuth mount. Thanks to the GoTo function, the telescope can capture any astronomical object with incredible accuracy based on the coordinates stored in the microprocessor's memory. The computer will automatically guide the user to more than 42,900 celestial objects. SkyMatic GoTo mounts are compatible with an external 12 V battery pack.
The Levenhuk SkyMatic 135 GTA telescope is a true gift from the sky for novice astronomers: the computerized mounting system will point the instrument to one of the 42,900 celestial objects stored in its database.
