Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK is an entry-level model of the Skyline PRO series. The Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design of this telescope offers a compact tube and high-quality views. This is a perfect instrument for observing deep-sky objects such as star clusters, binary stars, nebulae, and other galaxies. However, you will be surprised by its capabilities during planetary observations. The telescope is mounted on a reliable German equatorial mount. Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK is excellent for country observations, as you will have no difficulty transporting or setting it up for your observations.
The lenses and mirrors have undergone FMC coating, which allows maximum light gathering and extends their service life. The aluminum tube, sturdy and lightweight, is set on an equatorial mount equipped with slow-motion control knobs. Additionally, a computerized equatorial system (sold separately) can be installed on the mount. It features graduated circles, which after quick adjustment, allow you to locate objects based on their celestial coordinates and track them with a simple turn of an equatorial adjustment knob. The tripod with adjustable height has a handy accessory tray where you can store all your tools. The focuser is equipped with a standard T-thread, which allows you to connect an SLR camera via an adapter and use the telescope for astrophotography.
The Levenhuk Skyline PRO series is designed for experienced and demanding astronomers and includes a range of different models. A common feature is maximum precision and reliability during observations and astrophotography, as well as high-quality materials and lenses.
