Levenhuk Skyline PRO 127 MAK is the most powerful catadioptric telescope in the Skyline PRO series. A perfect combination of high-quality views and a small tube size is the main feature of the Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design. The extended focal length and large aperture make this model ideal for planetary observations. With this telescope, you can observe the atmospheric flows of Jupiter, the gaps between Saturn’s rings, the most prominent features on the surface of Mars, large and small craters and characteristic highlands of the Moon, compact nebulae, and star clusters. This model does not take up much space, so you can easily carry it and set it up wherever you are. The mount supports other computerized drive systems and finders for polar alignment, making it perfect for astrophotography.
The lenses and mirrors have undergone FMC coating, which allows maximum light gathering and increases their service life. The telescope tube is mounted on an equatorial mount with slow-motion controls. You can also install a dual-axis computerized drive system and a polar alignment finder (purchased separately) on your mount. It is equipped with graduated circles, which after quick adjustment, allow you to locate objects based on their celestial coordinates and follow them with a simple turn of the equatorial adjustment knob. The tripod, adjustable in height, has a practical accessory tray where you can store all items in use. The red dot finder scope allows you to quickly move to the desired position.
The kit includes 10mm (0.4 inch) and 25mm (0.98 inch) eyepieces, with a 52° field of view and magnifications of 150x and 60x respectively. The lenses are made of glass and have FMC coating. The telescope focus is easy to adjust, as is the collimation of the primary mirror by turning the dedicated knob. With this telescope, you can use other eyepieces so that their combination produces higher magnifications (however, note that the highest practical power of this telescope is 250x).
The Levenhuk Skyline PRO series is designed for experienced and demanding astronomers and includes a range of different models. A common feature is maximum precision and reliability during observations and astrophotography, as well as high-quality materials and lenses.
