Levenhuk Skyline PRO 105 MAK Telescope

Levenhuk Skyline PRO 105 MAK is a catadioptric Maksutov-Cassegrain design telescope that offers high-quality views while remaining compact and lightweight. The 102-millimeter (4-inch) aperture collects 28% more light compared to a 90-millimeter (3.5-inch) counterpart, and the telescope's long focal length of 1300 millimeters (51 inches) allows for high magnifications that produce sharp images during observations and astrophotography. This telescope can also be used for observing deep sky objects such as planetary nebulas and star clusters. With the help of an erecting prism (purchased separately), it is possible to transform your telescope into a powerful spotting scope for terrestrial observations. It can also serve as a long focal length lens for SLR cameras and can be adapted to standard tripods.

The lenses and mirrors have undergone FMC coating, which enables maximum light gathering and increases their service life. The robust and lightweight aluminum tube is set on an equatorial mount equipped with slow-motion control knobs. Additionally, a computerized equatorial system (sold separately) can be installed on the mount. This mount features graduated circles that, after a quick adjustment, allow locating objects by their celestial coordinates and tracking them with a simple turn of the equatorial control. The height-adjustable tripod has a practical accessory tray where all tools in use can be stored. The red dot finderscope allows rapid positioning to the desired location. The kit includes 10-millimeter (0.4-inch) and 25-millimeter (0.98-inch) eyepieces, with a field of view of 52°, corresponding to magnifications of 130x and 52x respectively. The lenses are glass and have FMC coating. Focusing the telescope is easy to adjust, as is the collimation of the primary mirror by turning the dedicated knob. The stainless steel rack and pinion focuser supports 31.75-millimeter (1.25-inch) eyepieces, allowing the use of separately purchased eyepieces, not just those provided in the kit, thereby increasing the practical maximum magnification to 200x. The focuser is equipped with a standard T-thread, which allows connecting an SLR camera via an adapter and using the telescope for astrophotography.
