The optics are made of quartz glass with aluminum and silicon dioxide coatingThe Levenhuk Ra 150C Cassegrain OTA is a Cassegrain reflector perfect for deep sky observation. It features an excellent optical design. The primary mirror is parabolic, while the secondary mirror is hyperbolic. Thanks to this, the transmitted image has no spherical distortion across the entire field of view up to maximum magnification. This optical tube without mount (OTA, Optical Tube Assembly) will be of great interest to the most demanding and experienced users.
The optics are made of quartz glass with aluminum and silicon dioxide coating. The optical system has a reflection coefficient of 92~96%. The Crayford dual-speed focuser suffers no backlash, allowing precise focus adjustment. The optical tube is made of steel, with high-quality internal blackening and two external attachment systems: one for fixing and one for mounting on a mount (dovetail plate). The Levenhuk Ra 150C Cassegrain OTA is compatible with almost all modern mounts.
Please note: mount, tripod, finder, and eyepieces are not included.
