The Levenhuk Nitro 8x42 nitrogen-filled field binoculars are an excellent choice for hunting, fishing, or hiking. These easy-to-use binoculars can withstand harsh weather conditions and even sub-zero temperatures. The sealed body ensures that you can use them in the rain or in close proximity to water – water will not damage the optics or mechanics and the nitrogen prevents the lenses from fogging up.

The optical scheme is based on roof prisms and the lenses are fully multi-coated. Due to this, the produced image remains bright even when you are observing in cloudy weather and at dusk. The optics material is BaK-4 glass that produces clear and high-contrast images.

You can adjust the sharpness by rotating the large central focusing wheel and the diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece. In addition, the interpupillary distance allows you to wear the eyeglasses while observing, and the twist-up eyecups can be adjusted to the most optimal position, while maintaining the field of view. The binoculars also have a wide range of interpupillary distance adjustment.

The ABS plastic body material is strong and robust and, therefore, the binoculars will withstand any tests with ease. For better grip, they are covered with rubber, and there are additional textured inserts on the sides of the optical tubes. The binoculars can be mounted on a standard tripod for long periods of stationary observation.
