Levenhuk Nelson Binoculars 8x30

The Levenhuk Nelson 8x30 marine binocular is a modern model with quality optics designed primarily for use near bodies of water. The binocular design uses classic Porro prisms. The classic lenses are made of BaK-4 glass. The lenses have undergone FC treatment with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating to provide a saturated and clear image.

The sturdy textured body is made of plastic. The rubber coating protects this binocular from accidental impacts and offers a comfortable grip. The nitrogen filling of the body prevents lens fogging. The Levenhuk Nelson 8x30 marine binocular features a waterproof and floating body: if it accidentally falls into the water, it will not sink, and the prisms and lenses will not be damaged. If you add a Levenhuk FS10 brightly colored strap to this binocular, it will be impossible to lose it!

The eyecups, which fold upward, are especially comfortable for those who wear glasses. The interpupillary distance is easily adjustable by bringing the optical tubes of the binoculars closer or further apart until seeing a single circular field. Diopter adjustment of the eyepieces is also available. Each optical tube of the binocular has individual focus, so there is no central focusing wheel. The binocular body features a special tripod mount.

The binocular body includes an integrated compass and rangefinder. The rangefinder scale can be seen in the eyepieces. The compass indicates the direction towards the object. The division value is 1°. North is at 360°, south at 180°, east at 90°, and west at 270°. The compass has illumination powered by batteries.

The rangefinder is used to calculate the size (height) of the observed object or the distance from it. It is possible to calculate an unknown parameter based on the rangefinder readings using a special formula.
