Levenhuk MED digital microscope camera 5M with 9.4' LCD screen

The Levenhuk MED digital camera is a complete display system with a screen, ideal for laboratory work. It is equipped with a touch LCD screen, based on the Android platform, which receives in real time the image captured by the microscope. This way, it is no longer necessary to strain the eyes to observe the sample through the eyepieces: it is possible to follow the progress of your research directly on the screen. It is convenient both for individual work and for group observations on the same sample.

In addition to displaying the image, the camera can take photos and record videos. The acquisitions are saved in the built-in memory and it is also possible to use external storage or a memory card. The quality of video and images is suitable for professional use thanks to the excellent definition of microscopic structure details and high contrast. The included software is used to manage the camera: all functions are available on the touch LCD screen. It is possible to connect additional accessories: headphones, keyboard, mouse, an external monitor, or a TV.

It is worth highlighting the image processing capabilities in memory. Using the pre-installed software, it is possible to adjust image size, brightness, contrast, gamma, sharpness, and saturation, set exposure time and white balance, calibrate the camera with different objectives, and measure samples and structures (various measurement units are available). Additionally, the software allows performing granulometric particle analysis.

The camera is equipped with a standard diameter barrel that can be installed in microscopes with a 23.2 mm diameter eyepiece tube. The use of the camera is not recommended with monocular or binocular microscopes, as the high weight of the screen combined with its angled position could cause the microscope to tip over. Use the camera only with trinocular models equipped with a separate vertical eyepiece tube. A mounting adapter is necessary to attach the camera to the eyepiece tube (sold separately).

The camera is powered via AC mains.
