Levenhuk MED D30T LCD is a trinocular microscope with a digital camera and integrated screen. You do not need to connect the microscope to a computer to set video parameters, transmit sample images to an external device, or process recorded photos and videos. You can do all this via the camera screen. Additionally, the microscope has semi-plan achromatic optical elements with infinite correction and allows Kohler illumination settings. The Levenhuk MED D30T LCD is a professional biological microscope suitable for performing various laboratory tasks..
Semi-planachromatic optics with infinite correction
The Levenhuk MED 30 series microscopes are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system, used in professional and high-end microscopes. This system includes semi-plan objectives and enables obtaining clear, high-contrast images with excellent flatness.
Levenhuk MED 30 are laboratory microscopes (professional, biological) that allow the installation of additional instrumentation.
One of the most important features of the infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows the installation of supplementary parts in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. Additional parts include polarizers (all Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes have a special slot for their installation), epifluorescence lights, and devices. Overall, the modularity and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes optimal for use in various fields of microscopy, for work in hematology, histology, microbiology labs, and other laboratories.
Rotatable head with beam splitter
A trinocular head is divided into a visual part and a tube for installing a digital camera. This allows observations through the eyepiece and simultaneous recording. The head rotates 360º around its axis, which will be appreciated by those often conducting group research. The visual part has a 30º inclination angle. A beam splitter is present.
Optical glass with anti-fungal treatment
The eyepieces and objective lenses are made of optical glass and protected with an anti-fungal coating. The semi-plan achromatic optical elements flatten the field of view, improve color rendition, and reduce chromatic aberrations. The eyepieces offer good vision and 10x magnification. There are five objective lenses. The higher magnification objectives are equipped with a protective retractable spring mechanism. A 100x objective lens supports oil immersion use. Focus adjustment is done by turning the coarse and fine adjustment knobs.
Digital capabilities
The digital camera does not require installing any additional software. You can use any camera option from the LCD screen and observe how micro-research progresses. You can connect the camera to external screens and it is compatible with various additional accessories (headphones, memory cards, and more). A 5 MP sensor creates high-quality images and allows taking high-resolution photos and recording smooth videos at a high frame rate. The software allows adjusting image size, brightness and contrast, exposure time, and white balance, calibrating the camera and objective lenses, as well as measurement of samples and structures (various measurement units available). A digital camera makes lab work easier and more comfortable since the image is viewed on the integrated LCD screen with touch controls instead of through the eyepieces, significantly reducing eye strain.
Comfortable work with slides
Below the optical elements is a stage with a mechanical scale. Under the stage, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. Below that, a LED light with brightness adjustment. You can also set Kohler illumination. The light is powered by an alternating current source.

Warning:
Refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.
