Levenhuk MED 10B binocular microscope

Levenhuk MED 10B is an achromatic laboratory microscope with a binocular head. It is designed for professional work with microscope slides and can be used to solve various tasks in clinics, scientific centers, research or medical laboratories, and training institutes. The microscope is equipped with achromatic optics that allow observations up to 1000x magnification. This microscope model is suitable for studying bacteria and cellular structures.

A binocular head is positioned at a comfortable 30° angle and provides comfortable extended observations. It is rotatable 360°.

The eyepieces and objective lenses are made of optical glass with an antifungal coating. The eyepieces provide 10x magnification and a good field of view that allows work with extended samples. Achromatic objective lenses are installed in the microscope. Magnification is changed by rotating the objective turret. It contains four pre-installed objective lenses; a 100x objective lens can be used for observations using oil immersion (a bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit). High magnification objective lenses have spring-loaded mounts.

Samples are placed on a stage with the help of a mechanical scale. The stage moves along two axes; coarse and fine focusing are available. The illumination is located under the stage and consists of an intense 5 W LED light. Its brightness is adjustable. Between the light and the sample, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and filter holder.

The light is powered by an AC power supply. The lighting system also includes brightness adjustment.
The Levenhuk MED 10B microscope is suitable for observing bacteria and cellular structures and for examining slides in the laboratory.

Caution:

For information on the correct mains voltage, refer to the specifications table – never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V power outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Keep in mind that mains voltage is 220–240 V in most European countries and 110 V in the United States and Canada.

The Levenhuk MED 10B binocular microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (sold separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed on the eyepiece tube, replacing an eyepiece.
