The stylish Levenhuk LabZZ M101 microscope looks like a high-end tool from a science fiction movie – the perfect choice for a curious boy! A young explorer can study the internal structure of houseplants, observe insects, spot microorganisms in a drop of water, and many other exciting things! The kit includes everything needed for the first biological experiments. The design is very unusual – a gift like this is not only useful but also fascinating!
High-quality optical elements
Although this microscope is designed for children, in terms of optical performance, it can be compared to many “adult” microscopes. This microscope is equipped with three objective lenses: 4x, 10x, and 40x. To change the objective, simply rotate the revolving nosepiece. A unique feature of this microscope is its binocular eyepiece with two positions (10x and 16x). It is very comfortable to use. And it is even more convenient than having two standard eyepieces. The microscope provides six magnification levels: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x, and 640x.
Studying the microcosm
This microscope allows observation of transparent samples – a drop of aquarium water, thin plant slides, or prepared microscope slides. Objects must be placed on the convenient round stage and fixed with two clips. Thanks to these clips, the studied samples will always stay in place. Light emitted by the LEDs (located under the stage) passes through the samples, creating the enlarged image in the eyepiece. It is possible to adjust the brightness level.
Intelligent design
The body is made of durable plastic. That is why it is so lightweight but also reliable. For greater convenience, the head is inclined at 45 degrees. The design stands out for its high safety – the illumination works on batteries, not with a power source. Thanks to all this, the microscope can be used outdoors.
