The Levenhuk Fatum Z600 monocular thermal viewer can quickly detect moving targets even in complete darkness. It is suitable for outdoor use thanks to its impressive maximum detection range of up to 2400 meters: at this distance, it is possible to spot an object the size of a car. Obviously, at distances of 300–1000 meters, it is possible to locate and identify smaller objects such as hares, deer, wild boars, and humans. This monocular thermal viewer can also be used to observe artificial targets such as industrial plants and machinery.
The sensor resolution of the thermal viewer is 400x300 pixels, ensuring sharp image formation. You can select the most suitable color palette for each application from the six available. There is also a Picture in Picture mode and a hot spot detection feature. The optical magnification of the device is 2.3x and can be further increased thanks to the digital zoom from 1x to 4x, which is continuously adjustable over the entire range. The laser designator, with an operational range of 200 meters, can be used during observations in difficult environmental conditions.
This monocular thermal viewer is equipped with a camera for capturing photos and videos. Images are saved to the internal 16 GB memory. The monocular is also equipped with a rangefinder to quickly calculate the distance to the target.
It is possible to connect the device to an iOS or Android smartphone via Wi-Fi to view images on the screen in real time (using the TargetIR mobile app). The Bluetooth connection makes it possible to control the device via remote control. It is also possible to display the image on an external screen by connecting a cable to the microHDMI port. The USB Type-C port is used to charge the device and transfer data to a PC.
This device is powered by two rechargeable batteries. Their total capacity is 6000 mAh, enough for 5 hours of operation. It is important to highlight the design features of this device. Firstly, it is completely waterproof, so it will not suffer any damage if accidentally splashed with liquid or exposed to heavy rain. Additionally, it has a 1/4" hole for mounting a tripod.
