Levenhuk F8 Filter Set “Solar System”

The Levenhuk F8 “Solar System” filter set consists of eight filters useful for detailed study of our Solar System. All filters have a barrel diameter of 1.25' and are equipped with internal threading to combine different filters.

Levenhuk 1.25' Lunar Filter
This filter is necessary for extended observations of the Moon. When the Moon is more than 80% visible, it becomes very bright, to the point of causing vision problems. This is why sometimes it is not possible to study it in detail. This filter reduces its “brightness,” allowing even full Moon observations.

Levenhuk 1.25' Optical Filter #8 (light yellow)
This filter is used to observe the seas and dust clouds of Mars, the details of Jupiter’s belt, as well as Uranus, Neptune, and the Moon. It can be used for comet observation. It has high transmission, so it is suitable for telescopes with small apertures. It reduces chromatic aberrations in refractors.

Levenhuk 1.25' Optical Filter #11 (yellow-green)
This high-transmission filter can be used on telescopes with small apertures. Through this filter, Saturn can be observed well, especially the Cassini Division, along with Mars and Jupiter. In refractors, it minimizes chromatic distortion.

Levenhuk 1.25' Optical Filter #12 (yellow)
Like the previous one, this filter is also recommended for owners of small telescopes. It transmits light well, enhancing the contrast between the details of the Moon, Mars, and Jupiter. It can be used to observe Venus and comets.

Levenhuk 1.25' Optical Filter #23A (light red)
Recommended for use with apertures starting from 130 mm. This filter is used for detailed study of Mars and the Moon, as well as atmospheric phenomena of Saturn and Jupiter. It can be used for Mercury observations at twilight and daytime observations of Venus. Comet tails are clearly distinguishable through this filter.

Levenhuk 1.25' Optical Filter #25 (red)
This is a filter for telescopes with apertures starting from 150 mm. It is an excellent choice for observing polar ice caps, seas, and dust clouds on Mars, as well as clouds on Jupiter and Saturn. This filter can also be used to observe the Moon.

Levenhuk 1.25' Optical Filter #56A (light green)
This filter is extremely useful for observing Jupiter. It enhances details of the Great Red Spot, as well as the myriad of faint atmospheric formations barely visible. It can also be used to observe Saturn and Venus. It is not a filter suitable for lunar study. It is compatible with small-aperture telescopes and partially eliminates chromatic distortions on refractors.

Levenhuk 1.25' Optical Filter #80A (blue)
This is one of the most popular filters for studying the planets of the Solar System. It allows detailed observation of Jupiter’s Great Red Spot and Saturn’s poles. This filter is also widely used to observe the Moon, Mars, Venus, and Mercury.
