The Levenhuk D740T digital microscope is designed both for observation through the eyepiece and for data transmission to a PC monitor. The microscope comes with a modern 5 Mpx camera to be installed on the eyepiece tube to transmit images to a PC screen in real time. Since the microscope is equipped with a trinocular head, it is always possible to observe (or in our case, both) the sample through the eyepieces.
The microscope has a wide range of available magnifications: from 40x to 2000x. To select the appropriate magnification factor, simply rotate the objective turret and change the eyepieces. The kit includes four achromatic objectives (including an immersion lens) and two sets of eyepieces.
The Levenhuk D740T microscope is designed for observing transparent samples. The illumination system is located under the stage and features convenient brightness adjustment. The light source is a 3 W LED. Its brightness is continuously adjustable over a wide range. The illumination is powered by mains electricity (power cord included). The light from the source is directed towards an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm. By adjusting the aperture diameter, it is possible to focus the light beam on the desired area. Coarse and fine focusing is performed via a focus knob.
The microscope stage is equipped with metal clips to securely hold the sample and can be moved vertically and horizontally. The body is made of metal.
Additionally, the microscope kit includes the Levenhuk D740T digital camera and its accessories. When installed in place of an eyepiece, the camera will display everything happening under the objective lens on the connected PC screen. This functionality can be used for presentations or to save research results as photos or videos for future use. The Levenhuk software (included in the kit) allows image editing: resizing, brightness and contrast adjustment, cropping, and more.
The kit includes everything needed to get started. The digital camera comes with an installation CD, containing necessary software and drivers. The Levenhuk D740T and its camera are compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.

Attention: Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V outlet and vice versa, without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.

The Levenhuk D740T 5.1M digital trinocular microscope is also compatible with other Levenhuk digital cameras (additional cameras sold separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube, replacing an eyepiece.
